BURKINA FASO

Burkina Faso, located in West Africa, is a landlocked country known for its cultural diversity and vibrant traditional music and dance. The name Burkina Faso translates to “Land of Incorruptible People,” and was adopted as the country’s official title in 1984. Burkina Faso is home to several unique ethnic groups, including the Mossi, Gurunsi, Lobi, and Bobo, each with their own customs and traditions. Burkina Faso is also known for its impressive natural beauty, including the stunning rock formations and waterfalls at Banfora and the extensive wildlife of the Arly and W National Park reserves.
