Best known for their wealth and abundance of oil, the Gulf States are also housing some remarkable museums that display magnificent ancient Islamic art, calligraphy, pottery, embroideries and jewelry. This unique tour will visit Bahrain, an archipelago located in the heart of the Gulf that boasts a unique blend of ancient and modern; a destination where glistening skyscrapers share the skyline with majestic, centuries-old mosques. You will also visit Qatar, where you saunter around the Old Souk (market), through the maze of alleyways and down to the nearby Dhow Harbor to see some of the Gulf's traditional and distinctive trading vessels and the world-class Islamic Arts Museum. In the UAE, you will marvel at Abu Dhabi's unique architecture, as well as being one of the most futuristic cities in the world. When in Dubai, an emirate that transformed itself in the last few decades from an obscure pearl-fishing village into one of the worlds’ most important trade hubs and a land of luxuries, you will also visit its Old town.

Depart your home town arriving Qatar the next day on November 02. Meet and transfer to the hotel for check in. (Check in to the hotel is available from 02:00 pm, Nov 02)

Sunday, Nov 03

Begin your day with a full tour visiting Katara Cultural Village, then the Equestrian Club to view some of the most beautiful pure-bred Arab horse, then head to the shopping mall for short guided tour and then free time for own exploration and shopping. Enjoy a delicious lunch as well. Then head to visit the Museum of Islamic Art, one of the Gulf region's newest and fabulous museums followed by a tour around Souq Waqif and the Falcon Shops, the most traditional of souks; it first started as a weekend market for local Bedouins, selling meat, wool, milk and other staples. Today, this maze of alleyways covers a large area with separate sections selling traditional clothing, perfumes, spices/incense & dried fruit. Back to your hotel. (B,L)

Monday, Nov 04

Our day will start with a visit to the Al Zubarah Archeological site. The walled coastal town of Al Zubarah in the Gulf flourished as pearling and trading center in the late 18’Th centuries. We will also visit Al-Shahaniya, a camel-racing track, the Sheikh Faisal Museum and Barzan Tower. (B,L)

Tuesday, Nov 05
Doha (Qatar) to Kuwait City (Kuwait)

In the morning we are going to visit new National Museum of Qatar and then transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight to Kuwait. Upon arrival meet your guide and driver and transfer to hotel. In the evening enjoy authentic dinner in Kuwait city. Overnight at Inn & Go Plaza hotel. (B,D)

Wednesday, Nov 06
Kuwait City (Kuwait) – Manama (Bahrain)

After breakfast in the morning start city tour of Kuwait. First, visit the Bait Al-Othman Historic Museum, dedicated to the history and culture of Kuwait - from the pre-oil era to the present time. Next, pass by the National Assembly (Parliament House), Seif Palace (Amir’s Office), and stop at the Grand Mosque for a photograph. Continue along Banking Street to the traditional Souq of Kuwait. At around 200 years old, this souk is one of the oldest in Kuwait and was once the center of trade prior to the discovery of oil. Goods sold here include Persian silk carpets, Arabic antiques, perfumes, fruits, meats, jewelry, and traditional clothing. In the afternoon transfer to the airport to catch flight to Bahrain. Upon arrival meet your guide and driver, and transfer to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the Mercury Grand Hotel. (B,D)

Thursday, Nov 07

Begin your day with the tour of the Old Palace and the Guest Palace in the Gudaibiya area of Manama. We then proceed to the island of Muharraq to visit Shaikh Isa House, a fine example of 19th-century Arabian residence. Next is the nearby Arad Fort, which was built in the 15th century in typical period style. It was occupied by the Portuguese for 100 years and is referred to as the Portuguese Fort. Then get ready to savor the finest Arabic sweets and pastries at a typical Arabic confectionery. After a break for lunch, visit Bahrain Fort and Museum before the tour concludes with a visit to the House of Qur'an where you will see rare and precious collections of ancient Quranic manuscripts as well as Islamic works of art. Afterwards transfer to Mercury Grand Hotel for overnight. (B,D)

Manama (Bahrain) - Abu Dhabi (UAE)

Start your day heading to Al Fateh Grand Mosque, the islands largest and a magnificent piece of architecture then visit to Saar where a 3900 BC town is being excavated. We then proceed to AI Jasra Handicraft Centre where we meet locals displaying their craft. We then go past Al Jasra House, which is the birthplace of the Amir, and stop at the Al Jasra Handicraft Center near the 25-km breathtaking Causeway linking Bahrain to Saudi Arabia. We also pass a 5,000-year-old burial mound. Transfer to the airport to take late afternoon flight to Abu Dhabi. Upon arrival transfer to hotel for overnight. (B,L)

Abu Dhabi

In the morning start the tour of Abu Dhabi. Visit Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Photo stop for the iconic Emirates palaces, Etihad towers, the corniche, then visit al Qasr Al Hosn Fort, dates market and the Louvre Museum. From its remarkable buildings featuring some of the most stunning architecture to be found anywhere. Enter a world where Islamic designs and elements feature on modern architecture, blending the New with ancient traditions of the East and the West, in a city where the glorious greens of its garden view with the blues of the sea and sky. Continue to One to one Hotel in Abu Dhabi for overnight. (B,L)

Sunday, Nov 10
Abu Dhabi – Al Ain- Dubai

After breakfast, drive to Al Ain, which is the Garden City of the UAE, and one of the oldest settlements. A green city with an incredible number of public parks, it is also the birthplace of H.H. Sheikh Zayed, the Former President of the UAE. It has also a famous university city. Our tour includes visits to the most important museum in the UAE, which houses artifacts of ancient times that have been discovered in and around the city, ancient Arabic manuscripts and royal treasures. Also included is a stop at the traditional camel market, a great chance to have a close up look at these “ships of desert”. Last stop on our tour are the Hili gardens, the excavation site of a tomb dating back 3000 B.C. and other archaeological discoveries. Afterwards transfer to Zabeel House al Seef by Jumeirah Hotel for check in and overnight. (B,L)

Monday, Nov 11

Morning at leisure to either explore the famous malls, or the old souks for shopping and after lunch time explore the city of Gold!! Our tour takes us first for a photo stop of the famous icon of the city, Burj Al Arab Hotel (Jumeirah Beach side). Continue driving for another photo stop of the magnificent Jumeirah mosque. Afterwards, we proceed to the oldest part of the city, Bastakia where old wind-towered houses of wealthy merchants are still to be seen. In the same area, also visit Dubai Museum in the Al Fahidi Fort, this has survived for two centuries. Continue through the cloth markets and end up at the Abras, local water taxis that will take you across the Creek to the area of spice and gold souks. Walk through the bustling alleys of these souks and allow the mystical aromas of numerous spices to tantalize your senses while the breath-taking amount of dazzling gold will dazzle your eyes. The jewelry on sale varies from the traditional to the latest designs at amazingly affordable prices. Then an outstanding experience visiting the world’s tallest tower Burj Khalifah. No building in modern history has aroused so much curiosity and intrigue as has Burj Khalifa. Throughout the journey to AT THE TOP, enjoy the multi-media presentation of exotic history of Dubai and the marvel of Burj Khalifa. Also, enjoy the view of Dubai from your vantage point on level 124 of the world’s tallest building. Your last stop will be at Dubai Mall fountain for a photo stop only. Afterward, proceeds to Dubai Creek for the Dhow Cruise Dinner. A chance to see the modern skyline of Dubai from the Creek. Overnight in the hotel. (B,D)

Tuesday, Nov 12
Dubai- Muscat (Oman)

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Muscat, upon arrival meet and transfer to Al Falaj hotel for check in and overnight, afterwards, after lunch, drive to Bait Al Zubair Museum, which consists of a concise collection the splendid Omani Heritage. We then drive to the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said the ruler of Oman, an architectural marvel for both its design and its location between the twin Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali (A brief photograph stop from outside only). After Muscat city tour, proceed to local restaurant for Lunch. Then drive to Muttrah Souq, one of the most popular souks in the Middle East. Take a walk in its labyrinthine alleyways beckoning with a myriad of merchandise, from imported fabrics to exotic Oriental spices, perfumes and richly handcrafted artifacts. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B,L,D)

Wednesday, Nov 13
Muscat – Nizwa

After breakfast, visit to the Grand Mosque, the most exquisite Mosque in Oman. The Mosque complex is constructed on a raised podium in keeping with the tradition of Omani mosques that were built elevated from street level. Afterwards proceed to Nizwa. The city of Nizwa is the regional center of A'Dakhiliyah Governorate. It lies around 164 kilometres from the capital Muscat. First we will visit the Nizwa souk. This souk lies in the vicinity of the walls of the famous Nizwa Fort. Its building embraces both traditional and modern architectural lines. Through its many alleys and divisions, Nizwa Souk has remained for hundreds of year’s home to a number of local industries, such as daggers, copper, spinning, livestock sale, fish, vegetables and handicrafts. We will continue to Nizwa fort. This Fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya’ aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area; with the town, having grown around the edifice from the top of the tower one can get a bird’s eye view of the Nizwa city. Afterwards transfer to Golden Tulip Hotel for check in, dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Thursday, Nov 14
Nizwa – Wahiba Sand

We start the day with Mudhaybi. Then continue to Visit old village Munziff in Ibra and have local lunch. Then we leave for Wahiba Sands, along narrow strip of high dunes and sketchy woodland along the unspoiled coastline of eastern Oman. In the north of Wahiba Sands are the most incredible sand dunes, some reaching a colossal 300 feet high and separated by enormous depressions. The Wahiba Sands is also home to the traditional Bedouins. We will visit one of the Bedouin houses. There are over 3000 Bedu of varying tribal origins who live here amongst the woodland on the fringes of the sands. Transfer to Desert night Camp or similar for overnight. (B,L,D)

Friday, Nov 15
Wahiba Sand – Wadi Bani Khaled – Sur – Muscat

Breakfast at the desert camp. At round 9:00am check out and proceed to visit Wadi Bani Khalid. You will drive through the tarmac road leading to Wadi Bani Khalid, which weaves up across the eastern AlHajar Mountains to Bida village deep in the mountains. There you can enjoy the spectacular views of the fertile valley with its spreading trees and abundant water that tumbles down as waterfalls. You will have a leisure time at the wadi. Wadi Bani Khalid stands out like an oasis in the desert with clear green natural spring water pools. You can walk inside the wadi as it is full of greenery. If you are interested, you can also have a small swim in natural oasis. We will proceed to Sur. We will visit One Dhow building subject to the permission. We continue drive to Wadi Tiwi. Walk inside this village, which has many farms mainly for banana and Papaya. Your guide will explain the complete cultivation process. Continue you’re driving to Bima Sinkhhole. On arriving at the Sink hole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. We will continue your drive to Muscat. Arrival and check in to Al Falaj hotel. (B,L)

Muscat to the US

Breakfast at hotel then proceed to the Airport for your flight back home. (B)
