Late afternoon return to your lodging for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Oct 30
Mount Meru – Lake Manyara

After breakfast depart for a full day game drive in Manyara National Park, a small compared to Tanzania’s other parks. At only 330 km2 it fits neatly into the Great Rift Valley, it is the real Cinderella of Tanzanian parks. This park is often overlooked and underrated but this gem was described by Ernest Hemingway as ‘the loveliest place I have ever seen’. The shallow alkaline lake is often covered by resident flamingos and whatever the park lacks in size it makes up for in diversity. Apart from the lake and the many lions that roam the park, there is an expanse of tropical jungle filled with troops of baboons and other occupants of the rainforest. Large herds of buffalos and zebras wander on the plains and in the distance are the ever present jagged peaks of volcanoes. Afterwards transfer to Farm house valley for check in and overnight. (B,L,D)

Oct 31

After breakfast and a safari briefing, begin your safari adventure to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park. Its name means 'endless plain' in the Masai language. It is from here that massive concentrations of wildebeest, zebras and other animals commence the annual Great Migration in search of pastures new, providing one of the greatest natural spectacles to be found anywhere in the world. You can watch golden-maned lions stalking the migrating herds, spot leopards at rest in trees at dusk and take a hot-air balloon tour at dawn as the sun’s golden rays illuminate the land. Afterwards transfer to Kubu Kubu Camp/tent for your overnight. (B,L,D)

Nov 01

Enjoy your full day the Serengeti, make the most of the game viewing. Order a picnic breakfast or lunch and head out into the bush and spend the day looking for game while enjoying the magic that this park has to offer. Later back at camp dinner is served and evening drinks by the camp fire is the perfect way to discuss the day’s events. (B,L,D)

Nov 02

Enjoy another full day at Kubu Kubu to explore these wildlife rich plains. Keep a look out for the many big cats and plains game that populate the area before finishing another great day with an aperitif around the camp fire. (B,L,D)

Nov 03
Karatu/ Ngorongoro

After breakfast, drive to Karatu via Ngorongoro, upon arrival transfer to Kitela Lodge for check in, dinner and overnight, enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure. (B,L,D)

Nov 04
Ngorongoro Highlands

You will spend the better part of the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and discovering its many resident animals. Descend into the sunken cone of the Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy a full-day game drive along the crater floor. The crater’s high walls serve as a natural enclosure for an abundance of wildlife. All the so-called "big five' may be seen. Among the notable birds are Lammergeyer, Vereaux's Eagle and Egyptian Vulture, which make their home in the highest of the crater wall, the beautiful Rosy-breasted Longclaw, which appears on the plains after rains and flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos which are spasmodic visitors to the crater lakes. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Nov 05

After breakfast, drive along a good road takes you across the Rift Valley to Tarangire National Park. This is the classic Africa of lore with shimmering acacia stands, old baobab trees, Masai warriors and elephant herds. Transfer to Maramboi Tented camp for check in. then late enjoy a game drive through the park. Afterwards return to your camp for dinner and overnight. (B,L,D)

Nov 06

After breakfast head out to spend the whole day in the park complete with picnic lunch. The area is also the only place in East Africa where one is often able to see the migration herds of tens of thousands of Wildebeest and Zebra, followed by predators. Although the migrations do occur in other areas of Tanzania, the tree cover prohibits a view of the magnitude that you are able to see at Maramboi Tented Camp because of the exposed nature of the surrounding grassland. On return to top of your day head out for an evening walk with a professional guide before returning to the camp for evening drinks and dinner. (B,L,D)
